Volunteer work includes cleaning, decorating, landscaping, light carpentry, organizing, and painting. Outreach to Teach is an amazing opportunity for Student Education Association members to give back and help a school in need. The school chosen for Spring 2015 is located here in Muncie.
Pen Pal Letters
Our members have the opportunity to be a pen pal for an elementary student. The program typically involves writing a letter once a month or so, and continues over the course of the entire school year.
Day At the state house
Each year, some of our members attend ISEA's Day at the Sate House where they meet our State Senator and have a chance to lobby and voice their opinions on policy in public education.
